Pay Schedule Changes for Fiscal Year 2012-13
Q1. Will 10-month traditional salaried employees continue to be paid at the end of the month?
A1. Yes, Payments will continue to be made as in recent years, with a full month’s payment on August 31, 2012.
Q2. When will 10-month salaried staff receive their first check for the 2012-13 school year?
A2. 10-month salaried staff will receive their first check on August 31, 2012.
Q3. Will the mid-month pay date always be on the 15th?
A3. Yes, unless the paydate falls on a weekend then the check will be deposited the preceding Friday.
Q4. When will traditional employees who elect installment pay receive installment checks?
A4. Employees electing installment pay will continue to receive installment check in June and July.
Q5. Will insurance deductions come out of my installment checks?
A5. No, All insurance deductions will be 10 months August through May. (Except FICA, FICAM, FWH, SWH and Retirement)
Q6. What deductions are included in the insurance deductions?
A6. Insurance deductions include: Health Insurance (State Health plan), Vision, Dental and Colonial products.
Q7. Will salaried employees receive their December 2012 paycheck prior to the holidays?
A7. No, starting this year (fiscal year 2012-13) salaried employee December paychecks will be deposited the last business day of the month.
