If you have any questions regarding the following information or a problem with your check please contact your school bookkeeper immediately. Thank you

• Installment pay dates are June 27 and July 31.  (If there is a Y by Installment Pay on your check stub you are on installment pay, blank you are not.)

• All deductions will be 10 months. (except FICA, FICAM, FWH, SWH and Retirement)

• Employees with Dental and or Vision coverage will have a double deduction in April and a double deduction in May for June and July summer premiums.

• If you leave or go off payroll before June 14, 2013, you may owe Pender County Schools money because you are prepaid each month.

• Supplements for Teachers and Teacher Assistants will be paid on June 14. If you are not employed on that day you will not receive a supplement.  

• Leave earned throughout the year is accrued, not advanced. Please be aware of your balances before taking time off work.

• Look carefully for possible errors in any deductions on your check. Be sure you are having retirement deducted if you are subject to retirement.      

• If insurance is being deducted from your check, escrow should be deducted as well. Please look over the following table:

*Note: If you were employed during the 2011/2012 school year no regular deductions for Hospital, Dental, and Vision Insurance will be taken from your August 2012 check.
