The process for challenging an instructional material (book, video, etc.).
1) View the Media Challenge Procedure Diagram on the left that outlines the procedures of the Challenge Process.
2) Then, on the left, click on Policy and Forms and then select the 5315 Board of Education policy for review.
3) Finally, to proceed with the Challenge Process, fill out the Request for Reconsideration of Instructional Materials form and return it to the school's media coordinator or principal.
4) To appeal the school level decision, following the above procedures, please fill out the Citizen’s Request for Review of Building-Level Recommendation and file it with the Superintendent's Office.
